Austin Gentry is a NC-born-and-bred millennial currently living in Houston, TX and serving as the Young Adults Pastor at Second Baptist Church. Austin received his Bachelors from UNC Chapel Hill as well as his Masters from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

This blog serves as a thought stream about the intersection of biblical truths and daily life — the experience of living in the tension between both and how God meets us there and closes that gap through His Word and Spirit.

My hope and prayer is that this blog would help accomplish exactly that: meet you in that very tension, and provide any bit of wisdom or encouragement to close that gap–mind, heart, and soul–with a deeper, richer experience of God’s Word and Spirit.

Thanks for stopping by the blog, feel free to provide any questions, comments, or messages while you’re here!
